- Experience the full range of patent responsibilities on a daily basis. Your working duties are diverse and no day will be the same. This will ensure you gain exposure in all stages of product development and invention harvesting, through to manufacture and the defence of IKEA’s patents. This is an autonomous position where you can really make an impact on products prevalent in every day life.
- IKEA is providing a platform for you to operate autonomously and have real impact in this consumer-facing industry. Not only will you manage and lead a patent portfolio, but you will also be involved in new products, contributing ideas as a development project member and a patent expert. This is truly a unique position that you can make your own.
You may come to this role as a qualified European Patent Attorney, or have considerable experience within the patent field. Your expertise is within mechanical engineering. You must enjoy forging positive and productive relationships with both inventors and legal departments as well as external counsel and more. Your ability to work cooperatively and thrive in IKEA’s vibrant and supportive culture will underpin your success in this role.
