Patent Attorney

Due to the firm’s excellent reputation, KIPA attracts a range of clients and patent work – handling a variety of contentious matters, alongside high quality drafting, prosecution and opinion work. At an exciting time of growth owed to the high volume of work and future prospects, KIPA is now looking to welcome a new Patent Attorney with expertise in Biochemistry or Chemistry. This is an opportunity to:

- Build and manage your own portfolio of work and handle the full spectrum of patent matters, including valuable opinion and strategic work, and the opportunity to build a practice of oppositions, and litigation. You will engage with all levels of client contacts.

This role requires a qualified patent attorney with a strong technical background in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or related fields. You must be fluent to a professional standard in written and verbal English; fluency in French, German, or Swedish is also advantageous. The successful candidate must have a strong foundation of experience in substantive patent matters, particularly drafting, prosecution, and opinion work. To excel in this role, you must have an interest in and aptitude for business development and winning new clients.
