MWA presents an exciting opportunity within a highly regarded law firm, to join in the capacity of Trademark Associate. Our client is not your typical law firm; instead it is a firm that welcomes and fosters determination and an entrepreneurial spirit, as well as encouraging autonomy and passion throughout all levels of the business. This firm sits at the forefront of new and developing industries, serving notable clients in the media, entertainment, leisure, and technology sectors.
This is a chance to join a London based Firm with a 65 year + history, within their newly established German practice of 2 years in the heart of Berlin.
As a Trademark Associate, you will:
- Be an integral part of the expansion of the Berlin office, re-affirming the firm’s EU presence. You will build excellent relationships with your colleagues across international offices, continuing the close unity our client has cultivated. - Support the Trademark team in a variety of matters, filing before the EUIPO and DPMA. Your work will be crucial to the ongoing success of the European Trademark Team. You will support the continued growth of the firm’s German offering; playing a key role in the future of the German office and the firm’s presence in wider Europe.
- Gain exposure and responsibility. You will have the opportunity to build up your client exposure, and gain responsibility for client communications. Our client is seeking a newly qualified or recently qualifying attorney-at-law before the German bar, able to represent trademark matters before the EUIPO. You will have recently qualified as a Trademark Attorney, and be fluent in both German and English. This firm is more interested in the knowledge of trademarks you have built up prior to qualifying, than your years of experience.
