There is a vibrant and welcoming team located predominantly in Mechelen. As a Senior Patent Attorney, this is an opportunity to:
- Take on a key role in developing NLO’s Belgian operations – NLO is giving you the opportunity to come on board at an exciting time. The firm is looking to continue building on its great success in Belgium and expand its client base and professional team. NLO is looking for somebody with a passion for client management and business growth, to provide key guidance and support in its ongoing expansion plans.
- Build experience across the full range of patent matters – the team regularly see the full range of patent matters. This means you will be involved in the full lifecycle of IP, from opinions and FTO work, patent drafting through to prosecution and post-grant contentious activities. Clients will also come to you for strategic advice on their inventions and business related IP matters. This is truly a broad scope opportunity to practice and refine your skills as a patent attorney.

As a qualified European Patent Attorney, you may arrive at this position ready to seize a more senior opportunity with greater opportunity and impact, or you may have considerable experience and wish to play a greater role in imparting this across a firm. Your background will come from Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related fields and you will enjoy the full breadth of patent work.
