The Opportunity

Electrolux is a global leader within the Appliance Sector and you have the opportunity to join the Italian team of Electrolux Group Patents, which is based in Porcia, Italy. In the same place  the Italian headquarters are located, as well as important R&D and production facilities, including those of Fabric Care, the Business Unit related to washing machines, driers and washer-driers, to which the Italian patent team dedicates much of his work. You will therefore play a highly visible role as patent attorney in support of the growth of this and other Businesses, by a proper protection of their innovation and harvesting of their IP Rights and Assets.

The IP Department employs patent attorneys in Italy, Sweden, Germany, Brazil and the USA. The Department in Porcia, Italy is managed by Mr. Paolo Markovina who has over twenty years of experience in the patent profession. The team in Italy plays a crucial role in the support of several key R&D and business units including Fabric Care, Dish Care Food Preservation and Global Connectivity & Technology.

Professional Qualities

  • You come to this position with at least three years of patent experience, preferably having successfully completed your EQE.
  • You will be educated in mechanics or a related discipline.
  • You will have experience of the full patent life-cycle with a focus on the substantive component.
