Reckitt Benckiser had been looking to recruit a European Patent Attorney for their department in Germany. Having used their own advertisements, unfortunately they were unsuccessful in finding a suitable candidate.
We were then approached by the company to see if we could help them in this difficult assignment. We discussed various options with them including broadening the search to include the option for the attorney to be based at one of their other sites within Europe. This greatly increases the geographical scope of the search and widens the pool of attorneys.
We then drew upon our network of candidates from over 20 years’ experience within Intellectual Property recruitment and were able to present a range of suitable candidates from the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and Italy. We provided Reckitt Benckiser with a strong shortlist of five candidates, two of whom were taken to the final interview stage. Following a rigorous interview process an attorney has been recruited into their headquarters in Amsterdam!
